Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services for Children

(PSR)

PSR services are designed to help children who have been diagnosed with or exhibit symptoms or behaviors of a mental illness to function successfully in spite of the diagnosis.  OPS provides these services in the home, school, and/or the community.  The services are supports put in place in order to create more stability in the lives of children.

OPS Family Care's PSR services for children and youth are specifically designed to bridge the gap between School and Home.  Rapport is built with one of our staff members who will work diligently to provide interventions that will improve a child's functioning in their daily lives.  This service differs from other community rehabilitation services as it is only one provider in the home and school and is time limited with the goal to teach practical skills and interventions.
